Checkpoint

By means of agreement No. 0002 of January 10, 2024, the establishment of the Tourist Control Point in the urban area of Puerto Nariño, Amazonas is regulated.
1. Location:
The checkpoint is located at the passenger pier.
2. Legal effects of the Checkpoint:
For all legal purposes, a tourist is understood to be any person who is not a resident or domiciled in the municipality of Puerto Nariño, that is, those who have a domicile in another city in the country or outside the national territory.
3. Checkpoint Fees:
- Adults, youth and adolescents: $20,000 COP.
- Children under 6 years old: Exempt.
- Adults over 65 years old: Exempt.
- Residents of Puerto Nariño: Exempt.
- People with disabilities: Exempt.
4. Investment of Resources:
The funds raised are and will be allocated to:
- Conservation and protection of the environment.
- Diversification of the tourist offer.
- Safeguard tourist attractions.
- Beautification of the municipality.
